Hello again.

The year is flying by already, and my Music In Hospitals/Arts In Healthcare tour of Jersey, in the Channel Islands, in February, went really well. Hopefully, a return is on the cards for 2009. I’ll let you know.

My recent trip to the USA was brilliant. Arizona was sunny and hot and the concerts were great. There were a few new faces, to add to the more familiar friends I have over there, and it was great to see them all. As a result, I am now on YouTube, with some clips filmed at Peoria Library on 28th April. My thanks to Lou Ann Reed, YouTubeaholic, and double bass player into the bargain, for the filming. This time I managed to see a few places I’d missed on earlier trips, including Monument Valley and the incredible Canyon De Chelly. I now know what the word awesome really means.

The Dunstable Folk Festival, is now the Dunstable Music Festival. It will run from 29th to 31st August, at Grove House Gardens in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, and this year will feature, among others, The Grapevine Blues Band, Sons Of The Soil, The Hamsters, Sheila Munro Jazz Band, and The String Of Pearls Big Band. I’ll be performing and trying to keep order as usual throughout the weekend. Check out (www.dunstable.gov.uk) or call 01582 890623 for details.

I can now send my newsletter as .pdf file, so if you would like to be added to my mailing list, to be kept updated with details of gigs, etc, just email me and ask to subscribe to my newsletter (which is free).

I’m still awaiting confirmation of some Christmas gigs, but will let you know as soon as they are confirmed. If you keep checking the website, you will know as soon as that happens.

I look forward to seeing you out on the road, somewhere, soon.
